Chief Riley has been with San Miguel for the duration of his career, beginning as a Fire Explorer at age 15. A licensed paramedic since 1998, Chief Riley became a full-time Firefighter with San Miguel in 2001 and has promoted through Engineer, Captain, Battalion Chief and now Division Chief, responsible for Emergency Medical Service and Health & Safety.

Career highlights include serving as Logistics Section Chief, Medical Unit Leader, and Facility Unit Leader. Chief Riley has also held a position on an Incident Command Team in California. His passion has always been taking care of the citizens he is called to assist, and he is excited to put that same passion towards the health and safety of San Miguel personnel.

Chief Riley acknowledges that his role with San Miguel would not be possible without the support of his wife, with whom he shares great pride in their two sons, both in college working towards careers in public safety.
