Fire Alarm and Sprinkler Systems Plan Review & Inspection
New fire alarm systems require a deferred plan submittal, rough inspection, and final inspection / acceptance testing. Final inspection / acceptance testing requires a 24 hour power-off period followed by 5 minutes of full alarm.
Fire alarm systems where an initiating device, notification appliance, control relay, or software is added, deleted, modified, or significantly repaired require a deferred plan submittal and full reaccepteance testing.
Fire alarm systems undergoing minor repairs (i.e., like-for-like device or appliance replacement) do not typically require a plan review or inspection. Please contact us for a determination.
