Fire Inspector Israels started his fire service career in 2017 as a firefighter with Elfin Forrest Fire Department. A fourth generation San Diego native, Inspector Israels was a competitive mechanic before joining the fire service, making the transition to fire prevention in 2019 as a Fire Prevention Specialist with the Rancho Santa Fe Fire District. Israels has completed CA OSFM Inspector 1 & 2 courses along with FEMA courses in both community risk reduction, disaster mitigation, and damage assessment.
